Janie received her certification in 1999 from the CSIA, Chimney Sweep Institiute of America.  Janie's son, Jacob Hagerty owns and operates Alpine Chimney Sweep in Taos, New Mexico.  Jacob is also certified by The Chimney safety Institute Of America.

Alpine Chimney Sweep is a genuine family built business that has generations of family experience involved in their labor of love. Janies father, mother and two brothers have been in the Chimney Sweep business for over 30 years in Omaha, Nebraska as well as the Greater Des Moines area. The combination of this pool of Chimney Sweep expertise as well as the business backgound of Janie and her husband, who own several other firms in Des Moines, provides central and western Iowa and eastern Nebraska with an incredibly well built firm that will provide these areas the most professional chimney sweep services for many years for their clients. Jacob Hagerty learned the Chimney Sweep business when Janie and his grandpa took him on jobs with them.  He started his own company in 2003 at 21 years old, in Taos, New Mexico, and like his mentors, Jacob is commited to doing the job the right way.

Residential clients expressed their satisfaction in Alpine's work to their places of employment and we are now recognized for our chimney sweeping, masonry repair as well as waterproofing services.
